Sharks Add to the Secondary

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Sharks contine to make moves for the upcoming season by adding two more players to the roster, DB Harrison Poole (5 '11,195) and DB Caleb Ham (6' 1,193).

Harrison Poole out Mercer University is returning to the Tank for his second season with the Sharks. In his first season he posted 31 tackles, one forced fumble and a blocked kick. At Mercer University, the St. Marys, Georgia native tallied 191 total tackles, two interceptions, and three forced fumbles. Poole also earned Georgia High School Association (GHSA) 1-6A Second Team All-Region honors as a senior while also being elected to the 2016 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) North vs. South All-Star Game for his performance at Camden County High School.

Caleb Ham played in 44 career games in four seasons at Fordham University (2014-17), tallying 186 total tackles, six tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, one sack, seven interceptions and 23 pass deflections. The McDonough, Georgia native chipped in on special teams as well, returning 10 kickoffs for 128 yards and one punt for 11 yards. He was named First Team All-Patriot League and an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Star in 2016 after starting all 11 games at free safety as a junior. Ham's father, Tracy, played 215 games across 13 Canadian Football League (CFL) seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos, Toronto Argonauts, Baltimore Stallions, and Montreal Alouettes. He ranks 10th all-time in CFL passing and was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
