Welcome to this edition of the "Shark Fin" Fan Eblast. We wanted to make sure and get each and everyone one of you the latest news on upcoming games and events the Sharks have coming up so you can make plans to come out and join us. Caller-Times "Pack the House for Charity" Night
This Saturday, July 14th vs. Amarillo Dusters at 7:05 pm!
Don't miss the final home game of the 2007 season on Caller-Times "Pack the House for Charity" Night. Join the Sharks in our support of both the Rise School of Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend - Corpus Christi Youth Football League.
These two groups are helping to sell tickets for the game and, in return, the Sharks are rewarding each group with a cash grant as well as a portion of each ticket that they sell.
ALL the money generated from this event will remain right here in our Coastal Bend community!
The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Sharks team photo compliments of the Caller-Times - then stick around for an autograph session immediately following the game.

Final 2007 Home Game
PACK THE HOUSE FOR CHARITY NIGHT
This Saturday, July 14th, the Corpus Christi Sharks host the Amarillo Dusters at Radiology Associates Field at the American Bank Center Arena in the final home game of the 2007 season. It's Caller-Times "Pack the House for Charity" Night. Join us for exciting Arena Football action and help support the Rise School of Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend - Corpus Christi Youth Football League. The Sharks are providing each group with a cash grant and a percentage of each ticket they sell. In addition, the first 5,000 fans will receive a Sharks Team Poster compliments of the Caller-Times -- with an autograph session following the game.

Week in Review
The Corpus Christi Sharks (3-10) and Texas Copperheads (2-11) met last Saturday night in Corpus Christi for the 3rd and final time this season. The teams split the first two meetings - both played in Cypress, Texas - with Texas claiming the first match-up before the Sharks rebounded in the second on May 19th. On Saturday, the Sharks, led by a strong defensive showing claimed there third victory of the season with a 54 - 24 drubbing. Corpus Christi's defensive unit and special teams combined for four (4) touchdowns. The first came on a 41-yard fumble recovery by Tyrell McCrea. Next, defensive back Donte King stepped in front of a Tony Eckert pass and returned it 45 yards for a score. The defensive scoring was capped when William Heyward got in the act with a 15 yard interception that he returned for a touchdown. Corpus Christi's Steve Smith also had a 57 yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first half.
