
Seven Former Stampeders on NBA Rosters

BOISE, Idaho, October 30, 2012 - As the 2012-13 NBA season begins tonight, seven former members of the Idaho Stampede are on NBA opening-day rosters. Throughout the league, there are 87 players with NBA D-League experience on NBA rosters, growing from 35 players to start to the 2006-07 season. Twenty-nine of 30 NBA teams feature at least one player with D-League experience.
Those players with past experience as a member of the Stampede are: Luke Babbitt (Portland Trail Blazers), Jordan Hamilton (Denver Nuggets), Josh McRoberts (Orlando Magic), CJ Miles (Cleveland Cavaliers), Patty Mills (San Antonio Spurs), Julyan Stone (Denver Nuggets) and Anthony Tolliver (Atlanta Hawks). The Stampede open up the home slate on December 7 vs. Austin at 7 p.m. for a special night, Heroes at the Hardwood presented by Pioneer Federal Credit Union. The team will honor and celebrate active duty and veteran military personnel and their families.
