Four Former Jam Players Make NBA Roster

BAKERSFIELD, October 30, 2012 - As the 2012-13 NBA season tips-off tonight, four former Jam players are on NBA opening-day rosters. In total, eighty-seven players with NBA Development League experience highlight NBA opening-day rosters. In just six seasons, the number of players boasting NBA D-League experience on NBA opening day has skyrocketed from 35 to start the 2006-07 season to the 87 this year. Twenty-nine of 30 NBA teams feature at least one player with NBA D-League experience.

Former Jam players on NBA opening-day rosters are: Eric Bledsoe (Los Angeles Clippers), Devin Ebanks (Los Angeles Lakers), Travis Leslie (Los Angeles Clippers), and Luke Zeller (Phoenix Suns).

The Bakersfield Jam open the 2012-13 season on the road against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Friday November 23 at 5:00 p.m. PT. The Jam home opener comes a week later on Thursday, November 29 when they host the Idaho Stampede at 7:00 p.m. PT.
