Fresh off a series victory over the Chico Outlaws, the Capitals continue their push towards the North American League playoffs as they open a four-game home series against the Fielders on Thursday at 7 p.m. The teams also play Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and the series concludes Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
The series opener tonight is another edition of Thirsty Thursdays presented by Hudsons Canadian Tap House, 100.3 The Bear and 104.9 Virgin Radio, featuring $3 beer all game.
It's also Jersey Shore Night, as the Caps are celebrating the hugely popular MTV reality show, which debuts its fourth season the following Thursday. There will be hairstylists giving fans Pauly D blowouts or Snookie bumps, as well as more than $1,000 worth of GTL (gym, tan, laundry) prizes up for grabs. There will also be a live DJ performing on the concourse when doors open at 6 p.m., and fried pickles will be sold at the concession for one night only.
The teams are back at it on what should be another phenomenal Friday night at the ballpark, and Saturday night's game features another edition of Saturday Night Movies presented by Herbers Autobody & Repair and 96.3 Capital FM. Fans can stick around after the game and head out to centre field with blankets and lawn chairs to watch Field Of Dreams on the inflatable big screen.
The series wraps with Sunday's matinee game, which is another Family Pack Sunday presented by Dental Choice and 630 CHED. Fans can purchase four tickets to the game, four hot dogs and four Pepsi for just $52. The Caps are off to Maui for nine game before returning home to battle Jose Canseco and the Yuma Scorpions August 12-17.
The Capitals are the city's most affordable entertainment option in the summer, featuring Edmonton's largest patio! Flex packs are available in multiples of eight for $48 less than day-of-game pricing.
