
Series Opener at Crushers Postponed, DH Scheduled for Saturday

AVON, Ohio - The series opener between the Washington Wild Things (28-14) and the Lake Erie Crushers (17-25) has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Avon area. The two teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader, with both games scheduled for seven innings, tomorrow, Saturday, July 2.
Game 1 tomorrow will begin at 4 p.m. with game 2 scheduled for 30 minutes following the completion of the first game.
It's the first postponement of the year for Washington, who entered the day 2.5 games ahead in the West Division.
A broadcast of tomorrow's doubleheader will be available on the Wild Things Baseball Network and FloBaseball, the Frontier League's official live stream partner. Pre-game coverage will begin at approximately 3:45 p.m. at flobaseball.tv.
