Baseball Camps Set at Clover Stadium

July 1, 2022 - Frontier League (FL) - New York Boulders News Release

Rockland County, NY - Help your future professional baseball player take the next step in their development with a week at the Nike/New York Boulders camp at Clover Stadium in Pomona this summer.

Open to budding players ages 7-15, the campers will get instructed in the finer points of the game by US Sports Camps counselors on the field where the New York Boulders play their Frontier League games.

New York Boulders' players and coaches are scheduled to make guest appearances at each camp session as the participants "learn from the pros on the field where the pros play."

Campers will learn the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, running the bases and team play - all while having a memorable experience on the Clover Stadium playing field.

Four sessions of the US Sports Camps/Nike/New York Boulders camp are available - July 11-14, July 18-21, Aug. 1-4 and Aug. 15-18; and each session, which will run daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., costs $325. There is a discount available for groups attending a session. For further information on a group discount, please call the US Camps Office at 1-800-645-3226.

The camp has a low staff to camper ratio and players are instructed based on their skill level. Players should bring their own glove, cleats, bat, batting glove, batting helmet and wear baseball attire.

In case of inclement weather, the camp will be moved to Clover Stadium's indoor facilities.

For attending the camp, each camper will get a T-shirt, gym sack, player card and lanyard.

Lunch is not provided for the campers, so be sure to pack one and bring it along to your session.
