Series Now Tied At Two; Game 5 Saturday At E-Center

West Valley City, Utah - The Fresno Falcons defeated the Utah Grizzlies 6-1 Friday night at the E-Center to even the best-of-seven National Conference quarterfinal playoff series at two games a piece. Neither home team has won a game in this series.

Fresno jumped up 1-0 1:56 into the contest and never looked back.

Rob Sirianni broke up the Fresno shutout making the game 5-1 with 1:54 left in regulation on his second goal of the playoffs. Ryan Cruthers and Sean Offers picked up assists.

Utah leading scorer Ryan Kinasewich returned to the Utah lineup for the first time in the playoffs after suffering an injury last Saturday prior to the team's trip to Fresno. He recorded five shots in the game.

Goaltender Mike Mole relieved Nathan Lawson after the fourth Fresno goal and stopped 12 of 14 shots as Head Coach Jason Christie tried everything to get the team jumpstarted.

Game five of the best-of-seven series is scheduled for Saturday at the E-Center at 7:05 p.m. It is now official that the series will now return to Fresno for game six and seven* Monday and Wednesday.
