Harlingen - United League Baseball's Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings announced today that second baseman Agustin Septimo is the Johnny's True Value Player of the Month for June as voted on by the fans at Harlingen Field and at the Johnny's True Value location in Harlingen.
In 19 games, Septimo hit .347 (25-for-72) with four doubles, four triples and 16 runs scored while going five-for-five in stolen base attempts. He drove in five runs while getting on-base 39.7% of the time.
Septimo ranked sixth in the league in hitting, fourth in total hits and first in triples.
The switch-hitter is now second in the league in hitting (.358), second in total hits (38) and first in triples (four).
