
Sellout Crowd Attends Middle Game of Series vs. Revs

(Central Islip, N.Y.) - The Long Island Ducks were defeated by the York Revolution 5-3 on Saturday night in the middle game of a three-game series before a past-capacity crowd of 6,726 at Fairfield Properties Ballpark.
The Revolution took a 1-0 lead in the second inning on Jacob Rhinesmith's RBI single to center field. A three-run double to right-center by Richard Urena in the third extended York's advantage to four.
Long Island closed the gap to 4-3 with single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings. Brian Goodwin's RBI double to left-center and RBI singles by Wilson Ramos and Ruben Tejada highlighted the scoring. York then rounded out the scoring at 5-3 in the sixth on a sac fly to left by Rhinesmith.
Revolution starter Tom Sutera (6-3) earned the win, tossing five innings of three-run ball, allowing six hits and two walks with one strikeout. Ducks starter Kyle Lobstein (1-2) took the loss, conceding five runs on four hits and six walks over six innings while striking out three. J.P. Woodward picked up his second save with a scoreless ninth.
Tzu-Wei Lin led the Flock with two hits, two runs and a walk. Goodwin added two hits and an RBI.
The Ducks and Revolution wrap up their three-game series on Sunday evening. Game time is slated for 5:05 p.m., with the Fairfield Properties Ballpark gates opening at 4:05 (3:50 for full season ticket holders). It's a Sunday Family Funday, presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union! Prior to the game, fans will be invited down for a Catch on the Field from 4:10 to 4:30. After the game, fans of all ages are also invited to take part in Kids Run the Bases. Right-hander Robert Stock (4-1, 5.28) toes the rubber for the Ducks against Revolution righty Andrew Cabezas (1-0, 4.50).
