Seeley, Swetlikoff Impressing in First Pro Seasons

Jujhar Khaira (2013-14) has been heating up lately for the Chicago Blackhawks. The 28-year-old forward has two goals and an assist in his last four games played, giving him five points through 18 games played this year.

Carter Hart (2013-18) and the Philadelphia Flyers may have fallen on hard times, but he has shown flashes of his trademark brilliance between the pipes this season. He opened the year 6-0-2, including a 48-save win vs Florida on Oct. 27 and a 33-save one-goal performance in a win over Ottawa on Nov. 5.

Connor Dewar (2015-19) is proving to be quite useful in the first year of his two-year extension with the Minnesota Wild. The Pitbull has one goal and four assists through 20 games on the Wild's fouth line, with his lone tally coming shorthanded against the San Jose Sharks on Nov. 13.

Stop us if you've heard this before: Radko Gudas (2009-10) ranks as one of the most prolific hitters in the NHL. He ranks third among all skaters with 88 hits in 22 games, behind only Philly's Nicolas Deslauriers and Vancouver's Luke Schenn. Gudas also has two goals and four assists on the season with a +2 defensive rating.

Jake Christiansen (2015-20) was recalled by the Columbus Blue Jackets on Nov. 11 and has skated in eight NHL games this season. He picked up his first point of the campaign on Nov. 17, an assist in a 6-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

AHL

After a bit of a stutter-step start out of the gate, AHL Coach of the Year Mitch Love (2003-05) has righted the ship and has the Calgary Wranglers back on track for a Pacific Division title push. Reigning AHL Goaltender of the Year Dustin Wolf (2017-21) has won eight of his last nine starts giving him a league-leading 10 victories on the year with a 2.59 goals-against average and .915 save percentage.

Former Silvertips captain Ronan Seeley (2018-22) is making his mark on the Chicago Wolves in his first professional season. The Carolina Hurricanes prospect has five assists in 16 games played on the Wolves blueline, with his best performance coming on Nov. 18 in a 4-3 win over the Rockford Ice Hogs.

Montana Onyebuchi (2016-18) recorded a Gordie Howe Hat Trick for the San Jose Barracuda on Nov. 25- a goal, an assist and a fighting major. Onyebuchi has six points and 27 PIMs in 15 games played for the Sharks affiliate.

Byron Froese (2008-10) currently ranks second on the Henderson Silver Knights in assists with nine on the year. Froese is in his first season in the Vegas Golden Knights system, accumulating 12 points through his first 20 games thus far.

Gage Goncalves (2018-21) posted his best performance of the season for the Syracuse Crunch on Nov. 23, logging a goal with two assists in a 5-3 win over the Toronto Marlies. Goncalves has 12 points in 18 games for the Lightning's AHL affiliate this year.

Noah Juulsen (2013-17) scored in his most recent game for the Abbotsford Canucks on Nov. 27 for his third point this season.

Cole Fonstad (2019-21) has had a strong November for the Cleveland Monsters. The Blue Jackets prospect scored in his most recent game against the Toronto Marlies on Nov. 26, giving him four goals and three assists on the season through 16 games.

Garrett Pilon (2017-18) notched a multi-point game on Nov. 19, giving him eight points in 13 appearances for the Hershey Bears. Pilon was recalled by the Washington Capitals briefly on Nov. 2.

ECHL

Alex Swetlikoff (2021-22) helped the Savannah Ghost Pirates win four in a row out the gate in their expansion ECHL season, netting the game-winner in overtime back on Oct. 29. Swetlikoff has five goals and five assists in 13 games played in his first professional campaign.

Orrin Centazzo (2016-18) currently ranks second in the ECHL in scoring, boasting 26 points in 16 games for the Newfoundland Growlers (Toronto Maple Leafs affiliate).
