Orlando, Florida - The Orlando SeaWolves have signed former Colombian National Team and MLS midfielder Jaime Castrillón for the remainder of the season. Per team and league policies, no further details were disclosed. Castrillón will be available for today's match against the Baltimore Blast.

A legend of Colombia's Independiente Medellín, Castrillón made over 270 appearances for the Primera A side from 2002-2009.

After stints in China and back in Colombia, the midfielder signed with the Colorado Rapids of MLS, one of current Orlando City SC Head Coach Oscar Pareja's first signings.

Over 41 appearances in two seasons, Castrillón scored nine goals for the MLS side, before joining NASL's Jacksonville Armada for their inaugural season in 2015. He last played for Atlético Bucaramanga in 2016.

Castrillón also made 27 caps for the Colombian National team from 2004-2007. His more notable goals came against the United States and Argentina in the 2007 Copa América.

"As we continue to rebuild our squad we are excited to welcome Jaime to our team," Head Coach Tom Traxler said, "Jaime is a very accomplished player with experience playing professionally in Colombia and here in MLS. He definitely adds more quality to our team."
