
SeaWolves Release 2011 Schedule

Erie SeaWolves News Release
(Erie, PA) - Today, the Erie SeaWolves release their complete 2011 schedule including opponents and game times.
Opening Day 2011 is Thursday, April 7 as the 'Wolves host the defending Eastern League Champion Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates). The 'Wolves will have 14 home games in April, 13 in May, 13 in June, 14 in July and 17 in August and September. The schedule features seven Monday Buck Night games, three Wednesday Buck Night Games (NEW FOR 2011 - - June 15, August 3 and 17) 10 Tuesday Family Buck Night games and 32 weekend games (Friday through Sunday).
Game times will remain the same for 2011. Night games in April and May will begin at 6:35 p.m. and night games from June through the remainder of the season will begin at 7:05 p.m. Sunday games will remain 1:05 p.m. starts along with two Saturday games (April 9 and 23).
For the second straight season, the 'Wolves will be home for Memorial Day weekend (May 27-30). Monday, May 30 will be a 1:05 p.m. first pitch.
School Days games will be Thursday, April 28, Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday May 19 with 11:05 a.m. start times.
Games on April 13, June 29 and July 27 will all be special 12:05 p.m. starts.
There will also be one Sunday night home game on July 3 beginning at 6:35 featuring post-game fireworks.
2011 will be the 17th year of Erie SeaWolves baseball and the 11th season affiliated with the Detroit Tigers.
