
Seattle Storm announces 2009 training camp roster

SEATTLE, May 17, 2009 - The Seattle Storm will open its 2009 training camp on Sunday, May 17 at the Furtado Center (the Storm Training Facility, 490 Fifth Ave. N.), with the first media availability scheduled for Monday, May 18 following the annual Media Day event. The last 30 minutes of each practice session training camp will be open to the media, with availability following the practice.
Media Day will be held at the Furtado Center on Monday, May 18. Storm players and coaches will be available to the media for interviews and photo opportunities.
A schedule of practices and preseason games during training camp follows:
Monday May 18 2-5 p.m.
Tuesday May 19 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Wednesday May 20 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Thursday May 21 Preseason Game #1 vs. Sacramento - 7 p.m. (PDT)
Friday May 22 Off Day
Saturday May 23 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Sunday May 24 10 a.m. -2 p.m.
Monday May 25 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Tuesday May 26 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Wednesday May 27 Travel Day
Thursday May 28 Scrimmage in Las Vegas - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Friday May 29 Travel Day
Saturday May 30 Preseason Game #2 at. Phoenix - 7 p.m. (PDT)
Sunday May 31 Off Day
Monday June 1 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
