CARSON, Calif. - Obafemi Martins scored the second-half game-winner and Clint Dempsey recorded two assists as Seattle Sounders FC (4-2-1, 13 points) defeated Chivas USA (1-3-3, 6 points), 2-1, at the StubHub Center on Saturday night.

The win marked the second consecutive come-from-behind road win for Sounders FC as the team remained unbeaten (3-0-1) away from home this season. The win also marked the seventh straight win over Chivas USA and extended Seattle's unbeaten streak in the series to 12 games (8-0-4).

Seattle netted the winner in the 81st minute when Dempsey played a ball down the left side to Martins, who chipped it over the diving Dan Kennedy. It was Martins' second goal of the season and Dempsey has recorded a goal or assist in all five appearances in 2014.

Chivas USA opened the scoring in the fifth minute when Erick Torres converted a penalty kick. Seattle's Osvaldo Alonso was whistled for a foul in the box on Leandro Barrera. Torres is tied with Dempsey for the league lead with six goals.

In the 24th minute, Lamar Neagle brought the match level at 1-1. Kennedy jumped off his line to catch a bouncing ball but couldn't control it. Dempsey quickly sent the ball back into the box where Neagle smashed it into the net for his second goal of the season.

Chivas USA played a man down for the final 17 minutes after Marco Delgado was sent off in the 73rd minute for a late challenge on Gonzalo Pineda.

Sounders FC suffered a club record 26 fouls, breaking the mark of 25 set twice this season.

Sounders FC hosts Colorado Rapids next Saturday, April 26th. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. PT on the Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field.
