Victoria Salmon Kings News Release

The Victoria Salmon Kings today announced they have placed all season ticket holders into their seats at Bear Mountain Arena. "We have cleared a major hurdle here in getting the seating reservations moved from Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre to Bear Mountain," said Salmon Kings Director of Sales and Marketing Ken Noakes. "It was a monumental task but the staff at selectyourtickets have done a great job getting this task accomplished, " added Noakes. Very soon a date will be announced for distribution of the season ticket packages.

It is now expected that upwards of 500 tickets will be available to the general public. "We were fortunate that of our initial season ticket holders a number of them decided to wait for completion of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre," Noakes said. "This means that we are going to be able to welcome a larger number of new guests each night."

These available tickets mean the Salmon Kings are now able to offer different ticket packages in addition to still selling season tickets for Bear Mountain Arena. "We have a number of people waiting to buy season tickets and we are tremendously happy to be able to help them out," said Noakes. He went on, "but in addition to full season's tickets we are now offering half-seasons, mini-packs and something different, our Crazy 8's!"

Half-season tickets will include a reserved seat for every other game, beginning with the opening game, Sunday December 5, 2005 at Beat Mountain Arena. Mini-packs include vouchers for 12 games, redeemable after purchase for the games of your choice though a maximum of 2 per pack can be redeemed for opening night. These can also be redeemed in any combination for example 12 for one game, 4 for three games, etc. Crazy 8's is a special Wednesday promotion. Each package contains 8 tickets for $88 dollars (plus taxes) and each of the 8 tickets is designated for a specific Wednesday night game.

Beginning this Friday morning at 10:00 AM all ticket packages are available over the phone by calling selectyourtickets at 250 220 7777. Further information is available on line at www.salmonkings.com.

The Victoria Salmon Kings play their next regular season game November 5, 2004 against the Idaho Steelheads. They open their home schedule after an extended 14 game road trip on December 5, 2004 against the Bakersfield Condors.
