Kamloops Blazers News Release

KAMLOOPS, BC - Once again, the Kamloops Blazers are enjoying solid season ticket sales. At its current pace, sales could surpass last year's total of 4,670.

"At present, almost 4,000 season tickets are spoken for," says Business Manager Angie Mercuri. "We are currently processing a number of outstanding accounts, along with our wait list. Once that is done, and we have accommodated as many of our move list members as possible, we should be able to make a limited number of season tickets available for 2004-05."

If necessary, the Blazers will cap season ticket sales at 4,800.

"Our goal at the end of last season was to make more tickets available to the casual fan," says President Case van Diemen. "With the restructuring of our ticket distribution, we should accomplish that with both season tickets and walk-up sales."

"We are pleased that the fans of Kamloops are showing their continued support of the hockey club by standing up and being counted as season ticket holders," says van Diemen.

We would also like to issue a reminder that the season ticket renewal deadline has passed. If you have not yet renewed your season tickets and still wish to do so, please call the Sport Mart Place Box Office immediately at 828-3339.
