Brandon Wheat Kings News Release

Brandon, MB. -- With the hockey club's 2011 Training Camp less than a month away, the Brandon Wheat Kings have announced that over 2,300 season tickets have been sold for the 2011-12 Western Hockey League season.

The WHL club says that as of Wednesday, August 3rd, a total of 2,320 season tickets have been purchased.

The Wheat Kings, who finished the 2010-11 campaign in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 32-31-1-8, sold over 3,100 season tickets last season en route to averaging 4,300 fans per game at Westman Communications Group Place.

2011-12 Wheat Kings' Season Ticket prices are as follows:

Adults $350 plus GST

Youth (17 and Under) $175 plus GST

$350 equates to a single game ticket price of just over $10 a game, which is still easily the most affordable ticket price in the WHL.

Wheat Kings' season tickets are also exempt from Ticketmaster agency fees of $3 per ticket.
