Windsor Spitfires News Release
Windsor, ON ¬" The Windsor Spitfires are gearing up for the playoffs and an unprecedented run at a third straight Memorial Cup title. With demand for Spitfires tickets at an all-time high and a growing waiting list for season tickets, current season ticket subscribers are encouraged to ¬Åhang on to your seats ¬Â.
Last season, the Spitfires capped season ticket sales at 5,200 seats. Even with the growing demand, the team does not plan to increase the number of season tickets available for 2011-12.
¬ÅSingle-game tickets are very important, ¬Â said Bob Boughner, President of the Windsor Spitfires. ¬ÂWe ¬â¢re fortunate to have one of the strongest and most loyal season ticket bases in the CHL and we greatly appreciate that loyalty. But we have to ensure that our fans always have access to single-game tickets. ¬Â
Fans wishing to be next in line to purchase Spitfires season tickets can join the club ¬â¢s ¬ÅWaiting in the Wings ¬Â program. A $50 deposit towards the season ticket price ¬" redeemable for two tickets to a Spitfires game ¬" gets them on the waiting list and ensures priority access to season tickets that become available. Members can also lock in ¬ÅEarly Bird ¬Â discount pricing, and receive special offers for tickets, merchandise and other events throughout the season.
Windsor Spitfires season ticket packages include a host of exclusive benefits designed to enhance the overall Spitfires fan experience. In addition to tickets for three pre-season and 34 regular season home games, the program includes:
÷ The Spitfires ¬ÅPowerplay ¬Â Program ¬" season ticket holders can earn reward points redeemable for a variety of merchandise and exclusive events and experiences
÷ The Spitfires Season Ticket Holder Carnival ¬" an exclusive one-day event with interactive games, access to Spitfires players, behind-the-scenes tours and more
÷ Fan of the Game ¬" at every home game, one season ticket holder receives a special gift and is featured on the Jumbotron as the ¬ÅFan of the Game ¬Â
÷ Parking Pass ¬" at every home game, one season ticket holder wins a VIP parking pass for the next home game
÷ Runway Tunnel Experience ¬" at every home game, ten season ticket holders and their guest will have the chance to ¬Åhigh five ¬Â the Spitfires as they take to the ice
÷ Shopping Days ¬" on designated days prior to Christmas, season ticket holders receive preferred pricing and exclusive offers on selected Spitfires merchandise
÷ Ticket Marketplace ¬" when they can ¬â¢t make it to a game, season ticket holders can post their tickets online for resale to the public
÷ Playoff Tickets ¬" season ticket holders get guaranteed access to tickets for all Spitfires home playoff games.
New benefits for the 2011-12 season include a complimentary souvenir Spitfires mouse pad, a $10 Spitfires gift card (one for each season ticket purchased), a complimentary Spitfires mini-stick for each Youth season ticket purchased, a complimentary ¬ÅBring a Friend ¬Â voucher good for one Spitfires pre-season game, and a food and beverage booklet with discount coupons and special offers exclusive to Spitfires season ticket holders.
Season ticket prices start as low as $366* for a Youth ticket, $515 for a Student or Senior ¬â¢s ticket, and $580 for an Adult ticket. Current Windsor Spitfires season ticket holders who renew for the 2011-2012 season before May 27th, 2011 qualify for the team ¬â¢s Early Bird discount, a savings of up to 34% off the regular season ticket price.
