
Seals set to paint the park pink

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Seals are proud to announce that they will play host to Paint The Park Pink Night on July 24 at Royal Athletic Park. The event, presented by /A Vancouver Island, KOOL FM and Fisgard Capital, will support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon Region in their battle against one of our society's most formidable diseases.
In honour of Paint The Park Pink Night, the Seals players and coaching staff will wear special edition black and pink jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the game against the Yuma Scorpions at 7:05 p.m. (PT). All proceeds from the jersey auction will go directly towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon Region.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for the Seals, our fans and our partners to come together and rally behind a truly worthwhile cause," said Seals General Manager Roxann Bury. "Our team is really looking forward to throwing on these great jerseys, and we're hoping that we can raise a lot of money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in the process."
The Seals will also offer a special discount to fans who purchase advance tickets to Paint The Park Pink Night - online at www.victoriaseals.ca or by phone at (250) 220-7777. Simply use the discount code âPINK' under Pre-Sales & Promotions to receive $2.00 off your ticket to the July 24 contest against Yuma. In addition, $1.00 from every promotional ticket sold will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon Region.

Other events around the ballpark include a Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon Region 50/50 Draw and a $1000 RSP Raffle presented by Fisgard Capital, with all proceeds donated in support of cancer research.
The Seals are currently on the road in Wailuku, Hawaii and are set do battle with Na Koa Ikaika Maui tonight, a 9:30 p.m. (PT) start time. The contest will not be broadcast online, but live updates will be available via the Seals website at www.victoriaseals.ca.
