
Seabron's Triple-Double Not Enough as Iowa Tops Squadron, 139-131

DES MOINES, Iowa - Two-way guard Dereon Seabron tallied a triple-double against the Iowa Wolves on Wednesday night at Wells Fargo Arena, but the performance was not enough as Iowa claimed victory, 139-131.
The Squadron registered 75 points in the first half, tying an all-time team record, but Birmingham was outscored 82-54 in the second half. The Squadron led by as many as 20 in the first half of the contest.
Seabron scored 21 points and recorded 15 assists while pulling down 10 boards for his first triple-double of the season. All five Birmingham (10-21) starters scored in double figures, with Seabron, Kelan Martin (26), James Kelly Sr. (23) and Feron Hunt (22) all putting up more than 20.
Birmingham is now 3-2 all-time against Iowa (9-22) and split this season's two matchups with Minnesota's NBA G League affiliate.
The Squadron cap the regular season with its home finale on Saturday at 7 p.m. as the College Park Skyhawks visit Legacy Arena with tip-off set for 7 p.m. The game can be seen on My68 WABM or NBAGLeague.com.
