
Sea Wolves To Face Brahmas In Preseason

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves, ECHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, announced on Tuesday their preseason exhibition game schedule, which will see the team travel to North Richland Hills, Texas, for a game against the Central Hockey League's Texas Brahmas at the NYTEX Sports Centre on October 12, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
"This is a tremendous opportunity to get a quality look at all of the new talent we have in Mississippi. With so many new faces, and so many line combinations needing to be tested, we felt that these exhibition games would be best for our organization," said Sea Wolves head coach Steffon Walby. "Playing the Brahmas will give North Texas fans a great opportunity to see ECHL talent as well a few familiar faces. I hope the Texas Brahmas are as excited to play us as we are to face off against them."
On Saturday, October 27th the Sea Wolves will celebrate their return to home ice as the team begins their 10th season in pursuit of the ECHL's Kelly Cup. Season tickets are now on sale and sponsorship packages are available by calling 228.275.WOLF (9653).
