
Sea Wolves linked with National Hockey League

Mississippi Sea Wolves News Release
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers and their National Hockey League affiliate, the New York Islanders, have announced an affiliation with the ECHL's Mississippi . "We're delighted to form a partnership with the Sea Wolves franchise," Sound Tigers and Islanders general manager Mike Milbury said.
Playing at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, the Sea Wolves joined the ECHL in 1996. They hosted the league's all-star game and won the Kelly Cup Championship in 1998-99. Information about the Mississippi Sea Wolves is available on-line at www.msseawolves.com.
The Sound Tigers will open the regular season with the first of four straight road games
when they visit the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Oct. 5. Their first home games at The Arena at Harbor Yard will be Oct. 22-23 when they host the Portland Pirates and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, respectively.
