April 14, 2022 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Saint John Sea Dogs News Release

The Saint John Sea Dogs (38-17-1-3) are heading on the road to take on the league leading Charlottetown Islanders (40-11-7-0) tonight at 7 PM.

The Sea Dogs are on a six game win streak, beating Gatineau, Acadie-Bathurst, and Quebec in their homestand last week. William Dufour continues to lead the team and the league in points with 102 on the season and is hot on the trail of Jonathan Huberdeau's single season points record of 105. Linemate Josh Lawrence is also chasing a record set by Huberdeau for most assists in a single season, only three assists away from passing the record.

Charlottetown has won their last three games, most recently beating Cape Breton 2-1 with goals coming from Brett Budgell and Jakub Brabenec. It was a goaltender battle in Charlottetown as Oliver Satny made 29 saves for the Islanders and Nicolas Ruccia stopped 38 of 40 Islanders shots. Patrick Guay, younger brother of former Sea Dogs captain Nicolas Guay, leads Charlottetown in scoring with 84 points on the season.

Puck drop is at 7 PM, follow the game from home at watch.chl.ca or listen to the game live on Sea Dogs Radio Presented By TD on CFBC 930AM.

The Sea Dogs will return to TD Station on April 19. There are only THREE home games remaining in the regular season! Be sure to head to the TD Station Box Office to redeem any remaining flex tickets before the playoffs begin!
