Sea Dogs vs Eagles: Today at 7 PM
March 5, 2022 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
The Saint John Sea Dogs (23-15-1-3) are back at home at TD Station to host the Cape Breton Eagles (11-24-3-2) tonight at 7 PM.
The teams have met twice this season, with each team taking a win in a back-to-back at TD Station in October. Since then, the teams traded some players over the trade deadline, Connor Trenholm being added to the Sea Dogs roster and Charles Savoie and Carter McCluskey joining the Eagles.
Saint John last played on Wednesday, winning 7-1 over the Halifax Mooseheads in Halifax. A four point night from Josh Lawrence, two goals from William Villeneuve, and spectacular saves from netminder Thomas Couture capped off the night.
Cape Breton is coming off a 2-1 overtime victory over Moncton on Thursday night. Both their leading scorers got on the score sheet with goals coming from Ivan Ivan and Émile Hegarty-Aubin.
Puck drop is at 7 PM, doors open at 6, and tickets are available at the TD Station Box Office and online.
