Sea Dogs Versus Mooseheads Game Postponed
February 19, 2009 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
SAINT JOHN, NB --- The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has announced that tonight's Sea Dogs - Mooseheads game, originally scheduled to take place this evening at 7pm, has been postponed until March 14, 2009.
Inclement weather in the Maritimes was the determining factor in the decision to postpone tonight's game.
Saint John (28-25-2-2) will next hit the ice on Saturday at 7pm in a home contest versus the Montreal Juniors (28-26-1-2). The Sea Dogs will be wearing special retro 1973 Saint John Mooseheads jerseys at this contest, which has been designated âHockey Night in Saint John'.
Fans are encouraged to wear their all-time favourite hockey sweaters to Harbour Station on Saturday, with a post-match auction featuring game-worn retro '73 Mooseheads/Sea Dogs jerseys set to be staged immediately following the action.
