Sea Dogs to Introduce New Manager

Portland, ME: The Portland Sea Dogs will be holding a Press Conference on Thursday, January 30th at 2:00 PM to introduce Ron Johnson as the teams new Manager. The Press Conference will be held in the Portland Room located at Hadlock Field.
Johnson will be in Portland for a two day Hot Stove promotional Tour concluding Friday, January 31st with a dinner at the Italian Heritage Center. The dinner is open to the public. Johnson becomes the seventh manager in Sea Dogs history. He managed the Trenton Thunder in 2002, leading the then Red Sox Double-A affiliate to a 5th place tie with the Sea Dogs in the Eastern League's Northern Division. With the switch of the Red Sox affiliation to Portland for 2003, Johnson will make the switch from visiting locker room to the home clubhouse at Hadlock Field. This will be Johnson's first visit to Portland as the Sea Dogs' manager.
