Sea Dogs to Host First Annual Dog Bowl Tournament

SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs are excited to announce the creation of The Dog Bowl - a high school hockey tournament showcasing the top high school hockey teams in the region.
The Dog Bowl will feature four high school teams - Kennebecasis Valley High School, Rothesay High School, St. Malachy's Memorial High School, and Sussex Regional High School - battling it out in a single-elimination tournament at TD Station.
Rothesay and Sussex will kick things off Friday, February 7th at 12pm followed by KV taking on St. Macs at 3pm. Later that night the Sea Dogs hit the ice against the Moncton Wildcats at 7pm. The semi-final winners will advance to the Championship Game on Saturday, February 8th at 2pm while the losers battle in the consolation game at 11am. The weekend finishes with the Saint John Sea Dogs hosting the Baie-Comeau Drakkar at 7pm.
Teams won't just be competing for The Dog Bowl Trophy. The Tournament MVP, selected by the Sea Dogs Hockey Operations staff, will earn an invite to Sea Dogs Training Camp in August.
