
Sea Dogs Tickets Sales Begin Nov 6

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox, will place their individual game tickets for the 2005 season on sale on Saturday, November 6th at 9:00 AM at the Hadlock Field Box Office. Phone & Internet Orders will begin on Monday, November 8th at 9:00 AM. No phone orders will be accepted on Saturday, November 6th.
The Portland Sea Dogs will be hosting the 2005 Hannaford Eastern League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 13th. Tickets to the All-Star game will also go on sale on Saturday, November 6th at 9:00 AM at the Hadlock Field Box Office. Box seat tickets are $16.00 for adults and $14.00 for children and seniors, reserved seat tickets are priced at $14.00 for adults, and $12.00 for children and seniors, and general admission seating will cost an adult $12.00 and children and seniors are available for $6.00. All-Star Game tickets are only available at the Hadlock Field Box Office and over the phone (beginning on Monday, November 8th), tickets will be unavailable through on-line sales.
Individual game ticket prices remain unchanged from last season. Box seat tickets are just $8.00 for an adult, while seniors (62+) and children (16 and under) can have a box seat for $7.00. Other seating options include Reserved seating, available at $7.00 for adults and $6.00 for kids and seniors. General Admission seats can be obtained at the economical price of $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids and seniors. Group rates are available for groups of 20 or more.
Last season was a record breaking attendance year for the Portland Sea Dogs as a franchise record 434,684 fans made their way into Hadlock Field, an average of 6,210 fans per game. The Sea Dogs ranked 26th in attendance out of 176 minor league teams, fifth out of 30 Double-A teams, and third out of the 12 Eastern League teams.
Back by popular demand in 2005 are the Sea Dogs Ticket Packages. There are ten, five game ticket plans available combining some of the hottest dates on the Sea Dogs schedule in 2005. These packages will guarantee you the same great Reserved Seat for all games within the package. Please contact the Sea Dogs for a complete list of available packages.
The Sea Dogs 2005 Promotional Schedule continues to grow by the day. Promotions that are already finalized for the 2005 season include four fireworks shows (April 8th, June 23rd, July 3rd, and August 25th), the fan favorite Field of Dreams promotion (August 27), and several of the travel acts including the ZOOperstars (April 19th, July 14th, and August 15th), Reggy (May 6th), Skyy Dogs USA (June 20th), and appearing for the first time at Hadlock Field; the Amazing Christopher (June 30th and August 22nd). Season Tickets for the 2005 season are currently on sale. Season Tickets range in price from $355.00 to $426.00 per seat and are available either on an annual basis or a three-year commitment. In addition to Season Tickets, the Sea Dogs are currently taking reservations for Skyboxes, Picnics, Birthday Parties, and Kids Club Memberships.
The Ticket Office will be open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 6th. Regular Ticket Office hours will begin on Monday, November 8th; 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
The Sea Dogs open the 2005 season at home on Thursday, April 7th at 6:00 PM against Norwich Navigators (Giants).
