SAINT JOHN, NB --- The Fifth Annual Saint John Sea Dogs Awards Banquet was held at the Delta Brunswick Hotel on Monday night, with several trophies being handed out in recognition of various players' outstanding achievements during the 2009-10 season.

Alpine Three Stars Award, Children's Wish Foundation Fan Choice Award, & Coca-Cola Top Scorer - Mike Hoffman
Scotiabank Community Service Award - Zack Phillips
Irving Oil Team Player Award - Kevin Gagné
Tim Hortons Most Improved Player - Tomas Jurco
Saint John Airport Academic Player of the Year - Michael Kirkpatrick
The Sea Dogs' Bell Aliant Most Valuable Player, Investors Group Top Defenseman, and Rookie of the Year will be named upon the conclusion of the 2010 President's Cup Playoffs. Saint John's opening round post-season series versus P.E.I. begins on Friday night at Harbour Station (puck drop - 7:30pm).
