Highmore scored the game's opening goal nearly twelve minutes into the game.
The 20-year-old centre stood in front of the Wildcats' net and deflected a Dove-McFalls pass through the legs of goalie Dominik Tmej.
The Sea Dogs also killed four minor penalties - including 54 seconds of Moncton 5-on-3 power play time - in the opening period.
Ward doubled the lead eight minutes into the second period when he took a shot from the right wing side that beat Tmej over his blocker.
Joseph made it a 3-0 game with seven minutes to go in the period.
The fourth-year winger finished off a passing play from the left side of the slot by sending a one-timed snapshot past Tmej's right side. All five Sea Dogs skaters on the ice touched the puck on a set breakout play that started in the Sea Dogs' zone before Joseph buried his league-leading 24th goal of the season.
Saint John outshot Moncton 10-1 in the second period.
Imama wrapped up the scoring before the two-minute mark in the third.
Landon Quinney led a 2-on-1 on the right side of the Moncton zone and found Imama on the left wing. The Tampa Bay Lightning prospect rifled a quick wrister beyond the reach of a sprawling Tmej to make it 4-0.
D'Orio was named third star with 19 saves in his first QMJHL shutout. Tmej took the loss with 21 stops.
Highmore's two points made him first star. Joseph snagged second star with his goal in front of 3,670 fans in attendance.
