Sea Dogs Introduce New Group Packages

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, have introduced several new group packages for the 2011 season. Among the new offerings for the 2011 season are the Corporate Corner, Celebration Package, Baseball Buddies, and Crib Club. The Sea Dogs' popular five and ten game ticket packages will also return in 2011. Tickets for the 2011 season will go on sale on Saturday, November 6th.
"These new packages were developed based on feedback we received from fans, creating a unique memorable evening for groups looking to host a special evening at the ballpark," stated Sea Dogs' General Manager Geoff Iacuessa.
The "Corporate Corner" package, presented by Oxford Networks, is designed for corporations looking for a fun evening of Sea Dogs' baseball either with clients or to treat their staff to a game. The package includes box seat tickets to the game, a $10.00 gift card for food and souvenirs per person, a message on the scoreboard, and a representative throwing out a ceremonial first-pitch. One of only two packages the Sea Dogs offer that includes box seat tickets! A minimum of 20 people are required for this package. Package is $20.00 per person.
The "Celebration Package" is for fans looking to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, graduation, promotion, etc. This package includes a box or reserved seat ticket to the game, a $10.00 gift card for food and souvenirs per person, a message on the scoreboard, and a Sea Dogs hat and T-Shirt for the person you are recognizing. A minimum of 10 people is required for this package. Packages start at $18.00 per person.
The "Baseball Buddies" package is designed for little leagues and softball teams looking to create a memorable day at the ballpark. The package includes a general admission ticket, a $9.00 gift card for food and souvenirs per person, a voucher to use the Sea Dogs' Speed Pitch area, and the opportunity to take the field with the Portland Sea Dogs during the National Anthem; standing next to potential future Red Sox stars. Only one package is available per game. A minimum of 15 is required and packages are available for $15.00 per person.

The Sea Dogs will open the 2011 season at home on Thursday, April 7th at 6:00 PM at Hadlock Field against the Reading Phillies. The 2011 season will be the Sea Dogs 18th year in Portland and ninth as a Boston Red Sox affiliate. The Sea Dogs are Maine's most affordable professional sports entertainment.
