SAINT JOHN, August 29, 2005 - Twenty-seven players remain in Saint John Sea Dogs training camp, following the release of three more hopefuls.

Bob "Tipper" LeBlanc, general manager of the Sea Dogs, expects the club will be carrying upwards of 25 players when the club plays its inaugural game at Harbour Station on September 16.

"It's a very difficult time decision-making wise," said LeBlanc. "The kids we're releasing now are good enough to play with us, but we are caught in the numbers game. Hopefully we are making decisions that are best for the hockey club."

Following is the list of players who remain in camp:

Roy-Vallieres Jamisson Orr Ryan Murphy Vincent Lambert Felix Schutz Mike Neil Alex Labonte The Saint John Sea Dogs are the newest member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and are one of 58 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League.
