The Saint John Sea Dogs (21-14-0-3) are on the road today, heading to Halifax to face off against the Mooseheads (21-15-1-1) at 7 PM.
The two teams last met under a week ago, playing in Halifax on Friday the 18th. The Sea Dogs came out on top in the 3-2 game at Scotiabank Centre, thanks to a hat trick performance from Senators prospect Philippe Daoust and a 33 save performance from Nikolas Hurtubise in net.
Saint John last played on Sunday, hosting the Voltigeurs for a long weekend matinee, and lost 2-1 to a stellar 45 save performance from Drummondville netminder Jacob Goobie. Brady Burns scored the only Sea Dogs goal of the afternoon.
Halifax played last night, losing 5-2 to the first place Charlottetown Islanders. Halifax top scorer Jordan Dumais and Brandon Abbass scored the two Mooseheads goals.
