Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
The Saint John Sea Dogs (40-17-1-3) are finishing off their road trip in Cape Breton to take on the Eagles (13-40-4-3) this afternoon.
Finishing off their back to back, the Sea Dogs are coming off a 6-0 win against the Eagles. William Dufour became the first player in the QMJHL to hit 50 goals on the season and the first to hit 50 goals since the 2018-19 season. The goal was also Dufour's 106th point of the season, giving him the most points in a single season for a Sea Dog in franchise history, passing Jonathan Huberdeau.
This afternoon, Josh Lawrence will be looking for one assist to break another one of Jonathan Huberdeau's records: most assists by a Sea Dog in a single season.
Thomas Couture got the shut out last night, the second of his QMJHL career, making 22 saves.
Puck drop is at 3 PM, follow the game from home at watch.chl.ca or listen listen live with Sea Dogs Radio presented by TD on CFBC 930 AM.
There are only FOUR home games remaining in the regular season! Be sure to head to the TD Station Box Office to redeem any remaining flex tickets before the playoffs begin!
