Sea Dogs Announce Opening Round Playoff Schedule

SAINT JOHN, NB --- The Saint John Sea Dogs announced this morning the dates and times for the games comprising their opening round playoff series versus the P.E.I. Rocket. The series gets underway this Friday night in Saint John and will continue until one team has registered four victories.

Tickets are on sale now at the Harbour Station box office for Games 1 and 2.

"We're very pleased with our opening round playoff schedule," says Team President Wayne Long. "Our fans have been waiting a long time to see some post-season action at Harbour Station, and we're looking forward to putting on a great show for them this coming weekend for Games One and Two."

The Sea Dogs - Rocket opening round series dates are listed below:

Game 1: Friday, March 21, 7:30pm - Harbour Station

Game 2: Saturday, March 22, 7:00pm - Harbour Station

Game 3: Tuesday, March 25, 7:00pm - Charlottetown Civic Centre

Game 4: Wednesday, March 26, 7:00pm - Charlottetown Civic Centre

*Game 5: Friday, March 28, 7:30pm - Harbour Station

*Game 6: Sunday, March 30, 4:00pm - Charlottetown Civic Centre

*Game 7: Tuesday, April 1, 7:00pm - Harbour Station

*If Necessary

Saint John ended the regular season in second place in the QMJHL East with a record of 41-22-4-3. The Sea Dogs won five of their six head-to-head match-ups with the seventh-place-finishing Rocket this year, outscoring their divisional rivals 43-22 over the course of the 2007-08 campaign.
