
Scrappers Induct Inaugural Hall of Champions Class

NILES, OH - The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will induct the inaugural Hall of Champions Class at the Scrappers game on Friday, August 9, 2013. The Hall of Champions has been created as a part of the 15th Season Scrapperganza as a way to showcase players, coaches, community leaders, etc. that have had a significant impact to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers over the past 15 seasons. The inaugural class of inductees includes: William M. Cafaro, Mayor Ralph Infante, Victor Martinez, Andy Milovich and CC Sabathia. Each season, several new honorees will be inducted.
Friday's game will feature the Hall of Champions Induction Ceremony with a 15th Season Commemorative Program Book Giveaway and post-game fireworks (baseball movie themed) presented by the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, 21 WFMJ and WBCB. Tickets are available on www.mvscrappers.com, at the Eastwood Field Box Office or by calling the box office at 330-505.0000. Gates open at 6:00 pm with first pitch at 7:05 pm.
