Scout Night Returns July 26

The Salem Avalanche are currently taking reservations for the 3rd annual Scout Night here at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium scheduled for Saturday, July 26. Salem will be returning from a road trip that day for a match up with the Lynchburg Hillcats. Game time on the 26th is set for 7:05 PM with gates opening at 5:30 PM. It is also Beach Night with a pre-game concert by Key West.

Scout Night activities include a pre-game troop parade, staying on the field for the National Anthem, a post-game campout in the outfield and the opportunity to participate in the first annual glow in the dark whiffle ball challenge. Tickets are $2 for scouts in leaders and must be purchased in advance by calling the Avalanche Group Sales department at (540) 389-3333. All Scout Night ticket orders must be received by July 21 in order to receive the special rate.
