(Vancouver) With just five days to go before the BC Lions and Saskatchewan Roughriders kickoff for West Division bragging rights and a trip to Winnipeg to compete for the 2006 Grey Cup, tickets sales topped the 39,000 mark on Tuesday afternoon.
"The response of Lions fans has been terrific so far, and Sunday's Scotiabank West Championship is shaping up to be a heck of great football game. We've added a few more sections in the upper deck so there are some great seats still available," said Lions president and CEO, Bob Ackles.
The club also reminded fans to wear orange on Sunday to ensure home field advantage for the Lions.
The Lions host the Scotiabank West Championship at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 12th at BC Place Stadium versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Call 604.280.4400 for tickets or purchase online at ticketmaster.ca. Fans can also purchase tickets for the game at 7-Eleven locations throughout the Lower Mainland for $49.98 per pair (plus applicable taxes).
