
Two Esks named to CFL All-Star team

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club is pleased to announce that QB Ricky Ray and WR Jason Tucker have been named to the 2006 CFL All-Star team. The all-stars were selected by 47 voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) representing eight CFL markets and a national chapter. For this final ballot, voters were asked to select players from the League whom they believed to excel at their position for the duration of the 2006 CFL regular season.
Ricky Ray (QB) - Ray finished on top of the league in passing yards with 5,000 yards this season. He had 406 completions in 618 attempts and threw for 21 touchdowns. This is Ray's first CFL All-Star selection.
Jason Tucker (WR) - Tucker led the 2006 Eskimos with 1,321 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. This is Tucker's fourth CFL All-Star selection (2002, 2004, 2005).
