Brandon, Manitoba - ScotiaMcLeod, in association with the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings, are pleased to announce plans for this year's "Saves for Big Brothers and Sisters" campaign.

During the 2011-12 regular season, each save made by Brandon goalkeepers Corbin Boes and Liam Liston at Westman Place will result in a donation of $1 to Brandon's Big Brothers and Sisters.

In Brandon's first three home games this year, Boes has turned aside a total of 87 shots in leading the Wheat Kings to a 1-1-0-1 record on home ice.

The Brandon Big Brothers agency was incorporated as a charitable organization in 1972, with a more representative amalgamation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Brandon occurring in 1981.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada is a national organization that was initiated in 1913 and was formally chartered in 1964, that is dedicated to positively impacting the development of children from single parent families. There are over 180 community agencies across the country, each with their own Board of Directors and specific community activities and objectives.
