
Scorpions Announce New School Game Date

[RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-The New Mexico Scorpions, in conjunction with the Central Hockey League, have announced a make up date for School Day that was postponed last month. The Scorpions will host the Amarillo Gorillas on Tuesday, February 17 at 10:30 a.m.
The game will be the annual School Day Game. Students from the State of New Mexico will be welcomed to the Santa Ana Star Center for an educational experience while watching a hockey game. Interested schools are welcome to contact the Scorpions to find out how their classes can be involved in this event.
The Scorpions embark on a six game road trip, their longest of the season, starting Wednesday in Rocky Mountain. After an off day the same two teams will battle on Friday night at the Broomfield Event Center.
New Mexico returns home on Wednesday, January 24 to host division rival Odessa. It is another Wild Wednesday with $1 nachos offered all game long.
