
Scigliano Stands Tall as Rush Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

Saturday night on Co-op Field at SaskTel Centre, the Saskatchewan Rush topped the Calgary Roughnecks 12-9 in the Battle Of The Prairies.
Zach Manns opened the scoring 2:53 into the game, with Robert Church, Cam Wengreniuk and Clark Walter adding tallies in the quarter.
Saskatchewan popped off with five goals in the second frame as Ryan Keenan scored two, while Mike Messenger, Mike Triolo and Church chipped in, putting the Rush up 9-5 at half.
Keegan Bell's third of the season started the second half and Manns buried his second to put the home side up 11-7 after 45 minutes.
Zach Manns finished off the hat trick in the fourth quarter and Frank Scigliano stood tall, closing the night with 42 saves.
The big three of Church, Manns and Keenan combined for 21 points in Saskatchewan's 7th win of the season, putting them in 9th place with two games to play.
Next up on Co-op Field, the Saskatchewan Rush host the San Diego Seals on Saturday, April 13th. Game time is at 7PM, with the official pre-game show on 92.9 The Bull starting at 5:30PM.
