
Schultz & Eberle Named AHL Monthly Award Winners

Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City Barons forward Jordan Eberle was named the CCM / American Hockey League Player of the Month, the league's front office announced today.
Eberle, a 5-11, 184-pounder from Regina, Saskatchewan notched 21 points (10-11-21) and was a plus-13 in 13 games during the month of November. That includes four different occasions when he scored two goals in a game. He also had success passing the puck. He had multiple-assist efforts in two games, including four assists on November 13 against Toronto and another three on November 17 against Milwaukee.
For the season, he has 27 points (12-15-27), which is good for second in the league behind teammate Justin Schultz. His 12 goals is good for fourth in the American Hockey League.
This marks the second straight month a member of the Barons has won CCM / AHL Player of the Month honors. Defenseman Justin Schultz won the same award for the month of October. In recognition of his achievement, Eberle will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to an upcoming Barons home game.

Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City Barons defenseman Justin Schultz was named the CCM / American Hockey League Rookie of the Month, the league's front office announced today.
Schultz, a 6-2, 185-pounder from Kelowna, B.C scored 19 points (5-14-19) and was +10 in the Barons 13 games during the month of November. He recorded points in 11 of the 13 games during the month and had seven multi-point games. Statistically, his best game was a three-point (1-2-3) effort against the Charlotte Checkers on November 25.
For the season, he has league-leading 20 assists and 31 points (11-20-31), is second in +/- rating at +14 and is fifth in the league with 11 goals. He has scored points in 18 of the Barons' 20 games this season and is currently riding a nine-game point scoring streak.

The Barons return to Oklahoma City to prepare for their back-to-back games against the San Antonio Rampage next Saturday and Sunday in the Alamo City.
