Scherma Released, Graves Suspended

Quad City Storm News Release


The Quad City Storm has released defenseman Ross Scherma. Scherma was signed last week and played Friday and Saturday against Peoria.

Additionally, Storm forward Al Graves has been suspended for both games this weekend. Per the SPHL:

"Quad City's Al Graves has been suspended three games as a result of his actions in SPHL Game 21, Quad City at Peoria, played on Friday, November 2. Graves was assessed a match penalty under Rule 21.1 at 5:03 of the second period. Graves sat out Quad City's contest against Peoria on November 3 and will miss games against Birmingham on November 9 and 10."

The Storm are back in action Friday night versus the undefeated Birmingham Bulls. Ticketmaster fees are still waived at QuadCityStorm.com.
