Quad City Storm News Release
The undefeated Birmingham Bulls travel to the TaxSlayer Center this weekend to faceoff against the Storm Friday and Saturday. All week the Storm is supporting and raising money for active military, veterans and organizations that support them.
Wednesday from 10:00 A.M.-7:00 P.M. the public is invited to write the names of service men and women on the ice to honor them. Everyone who comes Wednesday will get $3 off their ticket to either game and all military personnel receive $5 off a $15 or $20 ticket when they show their military I.D. at the box office.
Friday night the Storm will unveil camo jerseys sponsored by VFW Post 1303. These will become warm-up jerseys for the rest of the season and be auctioned off at our April 5th game. Friday's game also features $2 hotdogs.
BIG GAME #2 is on Saturday night as we pack the house to raise money for the Trinity Foundation's Military Services Fund. The Storm will donate part of their ticket revenue, chuck-a-puck proceeds and auction off the special military jerseys worn by the team. The first 1000 people through the door receive a Storm water bottle.
