Saturday's Scheduled Game at Down East Postponed

KINSTON, N.C. - Due to persistent rain in the Kinston area, Saturday's scheduled game between the Dash and the Down East Wood Ducks at Grainger Stadium has been postponed. As a result, the two clubs will square off in a doubleheader on Sunday, with first pitch for game one set for 2 p.m.

Coverage for Sunday's twin bill, which will consist of two seven-inning games, will be available on wsdash.com/broadcast and the TuneIn Radio App, with the Pregame Dash beginning at 1:45 p.m. Right-hander Luis Martinez (2-2, 4.75 ERA) will get the ball for the Dash in game one, while righty Drew Hasler (1-0, 6.30 ERA) will make a spot start in game two.

Winston-Salem's next homestand begins on Monday against the Buies Creek Astros. Promotions during the four-game homestand from May 21-24 include a Free Food Tuesday with free hot dogs, hamburgers and cheeseburgers available through the seventh inning for the normal price of admission, an Education Day on Wednesday and a Lowes Foods Thirsty Thursday with select beers available for $1 through the seventh inning.
