Saturday's Open Tryout Cancelled Due to Forecasted Weather Conditions

York Revolution News Release
(York, Pa.): Due to Saturday's forecast of poor weather conditions, the York Revolution have announced the cancellation of this year's open tryout. The decision was made ahead of time for the convenience of prospective ballplayers travelling from out of town. The decision was also made considering the condition of Sovereign Bank Stadium's playing field, with Spring Training workouts for the team scheduled to begin on Monday. There is no makeup date for the tryout.
All prepaid registration fees will be refunded. Those who paid via written check will have their checks returned by mail, those who paid by cash will receive a refund check in that same amount, and those who paid by credit card will have the fee refunded to their card.
