SAN ANTONIO (May 16, 2012) - The San Antonio Talons (6-3) aim for a record breaking attendance at this Saturday's home game when they take on rival, and number one-ranked San Jose (7-2) for a much anticipated rematch at the Alamodome.

As a special tribute to area educators, Saturday is Teacher Appreciation Night, with free tickets available to all teachers. Any teacher with a valid school ID can receive one free ticket to Saturday night's 7 p.m. home game.

In addition, the Talons are presenting an all-encompassing Buy One-Get One Free ticket offer in recognition and gratitude of the community's continuous support of the team in its inaugural year.

"This is a huge game for the team and we want to share it with our city," says Talons CEO Beau Raich. "We believe that the energy and support from our community and the momentum the team has gained over its longest winning streak ever will make for a tremendous win against the top ranked rival, San Jose."

During the game, the team will honor and acknowledge all teachers for their unparalleled contribution to the community. "Our teachers are dynamic and devoted individuals who provide us an education that changes our lives," adds Raich. "We even have some teachers on our team who we are excited to honor for their efforts off the field this Saturday."

The Talons' game against San Jose will kick off on Saturday, May 19 at 7 p.m. in the Alamodome, with a free Talons Tailgate throughout the afternoon in Lot B.

Tickets can be purchased through the team website at www.SanAntonioTalons.com or at any Ticketmaster location.
