New Orleans VooDoo News Release
NEW ORLEANS (May 16, 2012) - The New Orleans VooDoo added OL Brad Paul and placed DL Rahim Alem on the injured reserve, announced the front office on Wednesday afternoon.
Paul (6'4" 305 lbs., Memphis) is a product of the University of Memphis. During his senior season with the Tigers, Paul was on the Rimington Trophy Watch List, which is the award given to the nation's top center. He also played two seasons at Blinn Community College before transferring to Memphis.
The Houston, Texas native started the 2012 season with the Chicago Rush before being placed on reassignment. Paul will be suited up for this week's game versus the Orlando Predators.
Alem suffered an injury at Spokane this past week, and after much evaluation, he has been placed on the injured reserve list. The New Orleans native has started four of the five games he has played in for the VooDoo.
